Deep ruby coloured, showing austere and closed aroma with subtle notes of black fruits such as blackberry and blueberry, combined with fig notes, pepper and moka. On the palate reveals a remarkable freshness and excellent structure with firm tannins and a complex after-taste. Production: 3,030 bottles.
After de-stemming and a soft crushing, Touriga Nacional grapes were cold macerated for a period of 5 days. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature, followed by a post-fermentation maceration for 21 days. The Syrah, meanwhile, finished the alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation also occurred. The best wines were selected and matured for about 20 months in 225 litters French oak (50% new) barrels. The final blend was made after a careful selection, confirmed by numerous tastings tests. 2.997 bottles produced.
